Where will my daughter fit into the Canadian education system

my daughter will be coming to Canada after her U.K. GCSEs in summer 2019. At what point in the education system will she join, I.e. college or university?

Hi @ID_T1, welcome to the forum!

I assume your daughter is about 15-16 if she is taking her GCSEs? For all provinces but Quebec this means she will probably join secondary education, mostly called High School, for another two years. In Quebec it would most likely be one more year.

College and University usually require a High School graduation, which should be equivalent to UK A-levels.

    Hope this helps!
